The Value of a Community

• Networking and Professional Development: we offer opportunities to partner and learn with other colleagues, who are willing to share insights, challenges, and learnings that are available to them.

• Convening Opportunities: we know that many family and private foundations have a small staff, single staff, or even no staff. PSW’s role as a convener and its ability to bring foundations together represents something unique to foundations with few or no staff.
• Fostering Opportunities for Collaboration: private and family foundations can often achieve more by working together on issues and funding initiatives. All voices are welcome - we want all voices at the table and seek to provide a diverse neighborhood in which private and family foundations can connect, learn, and engage with one another.
