Over a period of three years, Colorado foundation giving has reached more than $800 million dollars dollars according to the latest reported 990's. Philanthropy Southwest's third landscape giving study provides an in-depth analysis of foundation investment in Denver, Colorado Springs, Colorado, and the Southwest region along such interest vectors as rural and urban disparities and areas supported, from the arts and education to human services, health and the environment. 

Open to both foundations and non profits, you will:
* Learn current philanthropic giving trends in Denver, Colorado Springs, Colorado and the Southwest region
* Gain a perspective which helps establish organizational priorities and recognizes areas of collaboration
* Understand how the Giving Study is a critical resource, used by community leaders, funders and grantseekers to build knowledge, engage stakeholders in conversation, and strengthen philanthropic networks

Kathy Jankowski, Founder and Research Director, Jankowski Associates, Inc., Poolesville, MD

Kathy Jankowski is founder of Jankowski Associates Inc., a philanthropy research and consulting practice. Her 25-year career has focused on working with others to identify, create, and steward connections that strengthen philanthropy. She has worked with organizations at the local, regional, national, and international levels. Ms. Jankowski currently consults with foundations, employers, and associations on engagement, communications, strategy, giving research, and how to increase impact. She is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of McDaniel College, Westminster, Maryland, and has completed extensive training in cultivating mindfulness.
