OVERALL PROGRAM GOAL

To create a forum for new staff in which ideas and experiences are shared on how to work effectively in a philanthropic foundation

Or in other words…

Everything I needed to know but nobody told me

 

OBJECTIVES

To provide information, resources, and insights to participants that will be of benefit in “back home” situations

To develop relationships with others for mutual support

To foster mentor relationships between experienced and new staff which will continue after the program ends

To identify our unique strengths

 

Audience

Foundation staff (working in any capacity) with two or fewer years of experience in the field

 

Environment

An intimate and informal setting that will promote sharing among participants
