In response to tremendous need for basic services and food during the pandemic, the local food pantry and the local library in Jeff Davis County formed a partnership called Mobile Comunidad to jointly deliver food, services, books and wi-fi. The librarian even put off a different grant project to address the interior of the library in order to respond to immediate needs in the community.
