Certain provisions in the health reform law, such as models to integrate care for dual eligibles, and a push for care transition programs, offer new opportunities for community-based aging service providers to contract with health care organizations. Yet many of these organizations lack the necessary business acumen to do so. During this webinar, presenters Marisa Scala-Foley, Administration for Community Living and the Center for Disability and Aging Policy, Erin Westphal, The SCAN Foundation and Nora OBrien-Suric, John A. Hartford Foundation, will highlight different approaches to build the business acumen of community-based organizations as well as gauging participants’ interest in developing a GIA Learning Circle on this topic. Special thanks to co-sponsors, John A. Hartford Foundation and The SCAN Foundation.
