Philanthropy Southwest will digitally host two Funder Affinity Group Events for the Southwest grantmaking community a day after our 2020 Annual Conference. The two Funder Affinity Group Events will include an inaugural Texas Child Welfare Funders’ Symposium and a Rural Funders of the Southwest Peer Learning Session. Philanthropy Southwest President & CEO Tony Fundaro will provide brief welcome remarks, and then each affinity group will breakout and meet separately on the same digital platform. Typically during our Annual Conference, PSW hosts small receptions for various affinity groups. Given our limitations this year, we have created this digital gathering opportunity post-conference for funders of the same affinity to convene and discuss important topics to their grantmaking area. All funders are welcome to join either event, and registration is separate from the Annual Conference.
