Join Philanthropy Southwest, Grantmakers for Education, experts, and funders in Dallas, Texas for a regional education funders’ summit on racial equity, hosted by Grantmakers for Education and Lumina Foundation. This thoughtfully guided program is an opportunity to develop strategic action for African-American, Hispanic and Native American learners.
Given years of research and the stark inequities faced by many communities across the United States, there is little doubt that philanthropy has an important role to play in assuring that these learners succeed. This powerful one-day summit is your opportunity to support your foundation as a change-maker and catalyst in advancing racial equity in education.
National and regional thought leaders and practitioners will guide deep discussion, informed by perspective and experience. Funders from the southwest will engage in a robust conversation about their organizational and individual journeys addressing racial equity in education. Participants will have the opportunity to envision how to deepen their work on racial equity and share ideas with other funders, opening the door to collaborative efforts.
The summit will be held at PSW Member Communities Foundation of Texas. PSW Members may register at the Grantmakers for Education Member Rate. Please log-in to see promotional code.
