OneStar and United Ways of Texas recently did on the Impact of COVID-19 on Texas Nonprofit Organizations. The survey of Texas nonprofits took place throughout May-June of this year, and the statewide data is included in the report.
The report also includes regional survey data from surveys that were carried out in that same time period by different partners across the state including United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, Mission Capitol, and the Center for Nonprofits & Philanthropy at A&M. Before releasing the report, we convened these partners who expressed interest in a 2nd survey, but this time more coordinated. Texas A&M’s Center for Nonprofits & Philanthropy has agreed to assist us on this second survey which we anticipate will have a focus on how Texas nonprofits have benefited from the federal supports like the PPP, and how nonprofit workforce and operations are faring now in September of the pandemic.
