Parks for Downtown Dallas has invested time and resources to transform Pacific Plaza from a surface parking lot to a public park in order to introduce more green space to the city's center. The design of Pacific Plaza will also have special references to Dallas history. There will be a circular shade structure that will create a visual pattern on the panels with sunlight. The pattern is actually an abstracted version of American Morse Code, a nod to the rich history of Pacific Avenue, Pacific Plaza’s namesake. More.
