Casey Family Programs is pleased to announce the national launch of our new special report, Building Communities of Hope: Creating a better future for children and families in a time of crisis. The COVID-19 pandemic is creating historic health, social and economic challenges for children, families and communities across the nation. The crisis — interwoven with the national focus on addressing systemic racism and inequity — has required us and our partners to adapt and rapidly transform our approach to improving the well-being of children and families. This 2020 special report is a collection of stories, videos and graphics that highlight how communities are responding in new and innovative ways to the pandemic's tremendous impact on children and families. It demonstrates how our partners are leading the way to building a true child and family well-being system. One of these stories highlights the innovative work in Texas around virtual courts to work toward permanency for children and families. Another focuses on the work of an Arizona grandmother and mentor for kinship caregivers.
We are a vibrant network of funders committed to a thriving Southwestern U.S. through the power of philanthropy.
