Connect with Local Funders in Tulsa at PSW On the Road
As part of our PSW On the Road series, we’re coming to Tulsa on July 31st to provide opportunities for local funders to connect over a networking breakfast and program. Our program will include an study of the impact of philanthropy across the region and a presentation from a local foundation.
PSW commissioned a study with Texas A&M Bush School’s Center for Nonprofits and Philanthropy to assess the impact of philanthropic giving across the Southwest.
Here is a sneek peek at our findings...
- Economic Impact: Each dollar of philanthropic giving generates an additional 75 cents in the Southwest economy.
- Job Support: Grants directly supported nearly 70,000 jobs in 2019 and indirectly supported 45,000 jobs through indirect and induced effects.

And hear a local Tulsa spotlight, featuring The Hardesty Family Foundation and Food On the Move.
In addition to the Economic Impact Study, The Hardesty Family Foundation will lead a panel discussion on Tulsa’s Food On the Move program. This collaborative community-based initiative is transforming food deserts and food-insecure areas, by partnering with health experts, community leaders, government agencies, and local businesses to bring quality food and resources into areas without access to fresh produce.
