Philanthropy Southwest is pleased to present this upcoming program for funders only: Investing for Foundations: 101 The confusing language of Wall Street can make it challenging for both investment and non-investment professionals, foundation staff and trustees to make strong decisions about the foundation’s portfolio or even their own retirement plans. This program will pull back the curtain with an interactive primer on the different types of investments and why they perform the way they do. If terms like equity, ETF, capital call, or fixed income make your head spin, join us. No question is too basic! Learning Objectives:

Understand the fundamentals of stocks, bonds, and other instruments in capital markets Learn the basics of asset allocation and portfolio construction Learn how to identify and manage risks related to an investment portfolio
