Continuing Professional Education (CPE)

The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) have jointly issued the “Statement on Standards for Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Programs.” All of the states in which members of Philanthropy Southwest are represented (Arkansas, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas) have adopted these standards in whole or in part. Philanthropy Southwest (formerly the Conference of Southwest Foundations) is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.learningmarket.org. The finance and administration sessions of Philanthropy Southwest's annual conference are designed to fully comply with the Standards.  A $25 administration fee is required. Certificates of Attendance will be distributed at each of the designated sessions.

Continuing Legal Education (CLE)

Attorneys who wish to earn Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit hours must indicate their intent on the conference registration form and pay the $25 administration fee. Certificates of Attendance will be distributed at each of the designated sessions.
