The Value of a Community

• Networking and Professional Development: we offer the opportunity to be in partnership and learning with community foundation and other foundation colleagues, who are willing to share insights, challenges, and learnings that are available to them.

• Convening Opportunities: we know many community foundations have a large staff and a limited budget. This often necessitates a need for learning and connection across large dynamic organizations where PSW is well positioned to convene grantmakers. Virtual learning can also be beneficial due to limited budgets.

• Opportunities for Collaboration: community foundations can often achieve more by working with other types of grantmakers on issues and funding initiatives. All voices are welcome - we want all voices at the table and seek to provide a diverse neighborhood in which community foundations can connect, learn, and engage with one another
